My passion for design began as a child while flying with my father over Northern Virginia for an aerial survey of a vast woodland area that would become one of the largest shopping, dining, and residential developments in the region. Back at the drafting table I watched as my father designed the best locations for buildings and structures, pedestrian and vehicular access and movement, and landscaping and open spaces.

 

After working for him growing up, fast forward as I explored the malleability of visual art and design to share my visions - first as a copywriter and art director in print advertising and broadcast commercials and then into the world of film and television as a set decorator and art director - always undergirded by the keen sense of spatial planning I learned from my father and my study of art history and storytelling in college.

 

On projects like The Haunting of Hill House, StarGirl, Swagger, Moon Shot, No One Will Save You, and The Underdoggs, I’ve have had the privilege of creating worlds for award winning writers, directors, and producers that bring their stories to life in an immersive way.

 

In between film and television projects I enjoy designing whole home renovations and short term rental interiors with my partner Dorian; as well as exhibition and retail designs for various clients throughout the country.
